Organizations
Undergraduate and graduate students in the IMSE Department are encouraged to participate in student chapters of their respective professional societies that include the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the American Society of Safety Engineers and the National Safety Management Society. Students benefit by their participation in these student chapters in a number of ways including attending regional or national conferences, receiving special training opportunities, having access to special speakers, exchanging ideas with other students and professionals and being introduced to the professionalism and ethics of their Associations and Societies.
